These packs have been put together to supports schools in the delivery of prelim examinations and formal assessments for National 5 and Higher Mathematics and National 5 Applications of Mathematics. Both of these packs have been designed according the 2023-2024 SQA guidelines and only the topics that will appear in the final examination are included in these assessments. 

National 5 Mathematics Assessment Pack

The pack contains the following:

• Two full examinations.  
• Two half-length examinations.
• An additional questions document.
• A full analysis of each paper covering content and difficulty, with accompanying analysis spreadsheet for making changes.

Each assessment contains all units and can be edited to suit individual schools.  Each assessment also meets the requirements of the SQA in terms of breadth, depth and challenge and comes with an overview document of the content and difficulty.
